Prof. Dr. Timur Gürgan

He was born in Malatya. He started his academic career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Hacettepe University in 1985, and became an Associate Professor in 1988 and a Professor in 1995. He was the head of Hacettepe University Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Department for 10 years. She established the gynecological endoscopy, IVF, andrology and menopause departments. She had the opportunity to work in the fields of reproductive medicine, assisted reproductive techniques, microsurgery and endoscopic surgery at many universities and important centers abroad.

International Studies and Presidencies

He is a board member of many international associations related to reproductive medicine and has organized many national and international congresses, symposiums and workshops. He is the 2nd President of the Mediterranean Countries Reproductive Medicine Association.

He was elected to the Editorial Board of the journal Fertility and Sterility, which publishes important articles on reproductive endocrinology, gynecology, infertility, IVF and urology published by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
